A 5-week course where participants will prepare an outline for a journal manuscript and explore how to incorporate rural nursing into their writing. Within the course participants will explore the barriers and fears of writing and strategies for overcoming those hurdles. The course topics allows participants to determine if they want to write as a solo author or choose to be a partner in a team of authors. At the conclusion of the course a nursing continuing education certificate of completion will be awarded. (23CHs).

Topics include: Writing rituals, inspiration, plotter or pantser strategy, overcoming hurdles, and the most important approach to writing.
